To insert an image into a selected area in Pixlr, first use the selection tool to highlight the desired area where you want the new image to appear. Next, go to the "File" menu and select "Open image" to upload the image you want to insert. Once the image is opened, copy it (Ctrl+C or Command+C), then return to your main canvas and paste it (Ctrl+V or Command+V) into the selected area. Finally, you can adjust the position and size of the inserted image as needed.
