WMA is a Windows patented audio compression technolology. MP3 stands for MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3. MP3 is used by most devices which can play music. WMA can only be used by some devices and players, such as Windows Media Player. A WMA to MP3 converter can be used to convert WMA files to MP3, e.g. to play a song from Windows Media Player on a smartphone.
Windows Media Center * Specialized distribution of Windows XP/front-end application for XP, provided a TV & remote control friendly interface for accessing media. Windows Media Player * Audio & Video player developed by Microsoft, and distributed with Microsoft Windows.
This will depend entirely on what brand and model of mp3 player (actually a portable media player [PMP] if it plays media other than mp3 music files) you choose to purchase. All models of the Microsoft Zune play videos. As far as I know, all of the Zunes come with a handful of promotional videos pre-loaded on them. Many of the iPod models will also play videos. They do not generally come with videos pre-loaded. Your best bet is to identify a specific brand and model of PMP in which you are interested, then research whether or not it supports video.
You shouldn't have to do anything. Most songs downloaded from peer to peer sharing software like Limewire is in MP3 format. Windows Media Player can play MP3's you should be able to drag and drop the mp3 file from where Limewire saves it into the media player or right click on the file(in the folder location where its stored; not in Limewire) and choose open with and then select Windows Media Player
Because its not a large form that holds only media players, such as a camera or mp3 player. (note: an iPod is not a media player)
