You can not. You need to save the files from Office 2007 in compatibility mode if you want to open the files with an older version of Office.
Download FileFormatConverters from Microsoft. This program will allow you to pen docx files with earlier versions of Microsoft Office.
Files created in the 2003 version will be readable by Office 2007, as most packages are designed to read data created on older versions. The reverse, however is where difficulties will arise, as software is rarely backwards-compatible.
Purchase an upgrade version of Office 2007 and install. It will replace the Office 2003 program files with the appropriate Office 2007 files. Your data files will remain unaffected. You can use all of your Office 2003 data files with Office 2007 (but Office 2007 files may not be backward compatible for Office 2003).
Office XP, 2003, 2007 and 2010. Older ones may work, but are unsupported.
Compatibility packs are available from Microsoft. This software will allow you to edit, save and create new files. It will also help you determine if you can use older versions of Microsoft.
because office 2007 formats are not compatible with older versions and Microsoft wanted to be sure you don't try to open it with older office like 2003 for example. if you still want to use old version of office and open newer files like .docx go to Microsoft download page and download compatibility pack for your office. its official, free and working :)
You need to open the files with the appropriate Office 2007 program and save in compatibility mode. You usually cannot open Office 2007 files with Office 2003.
Microsoft has Visual Studio 2005, 2008, and (in beta) 2010. There are also older versions. There is no Visual Studio 2007. (Are you talking about Office 2007?)
No, software is rarely 'backwards compatible' - Office 2007 should be happy to work with version 2003 files, but Office 2003 will likely reject 2007 files, due to it not being capable of understanding enhancements made after the Office 2003 software was written.
Open it using MS Office 2007 or later or even OpenOffice.org supports this. Other options are LibreOffice, KOffice, etc. Online versions include Google Docs and Microsoft Office Live.
Yes. Since PowerPoint 2003 is older than PowerPoint 2007, 2007 can open an earlier version of PowerPoint. But Earlier version cannot open later versions like 2003 cannot open 2007 files.
You can get the Microsoft Office suite at Microsoft Store website, but unfortunately you cannot find Office 2007 or any older versions available on the Microsoft's store website currently. But instead you can get a copy of Microsoft Office 365 or 2013. You can evaluate it for a period of 30 days and also extend the trial.
