Without knowing the printer/plotters you are using and what operating system you are using it is really hard to say. Most likely it is a memory problem or it could potentially be a corrupt printer/plotter driver or a corrupt print spooler.
If you have no computer printer, the only way of getting a picture you want is to find a suitable example in a book or magazine and get it photocopied. If you want to print digital photographs, then many photographic shops will do this for you if you take your camera or mobile 'phone in to them. If your aim is to get photographs developed over the long term without using digital technology, then your best bet is to go back to using film cameras and taking the pictures in to an appropriate source to be chemically developed.
