This is not a backup drive, its a USB hub. Its designed to add more USB ports when you do not have enough for all of your devices.

There are several ways to do that in Photoshop: open 2 images in Photoshop, convert background layer to normal for image nmb. 2 then drag it into window with image 1. Another way is to use File > Place command to import image from hard drive into document with already open image in Photoshop.
