Why won't my PS3 recognize the files I add on my usb flash drive?

You have to format the flash drive so it is compatible with the ps3
You can not add some files using the USB drive If they are games and add ons they must come from the PlayStation Store
Maybe if you were intelligent, you would have stated what format the flash drive should be in....it is FAT32

your friends flash drive is not 2tb. more likely it is a 2 gig flash drive, and i would imagine the xbox doesnt like the format of the drive. try hooking it up to a laptop and formatting the flash drive. fat32 or ntfs will work. good luck.

I would have to say something is corrupt with the files on the DVD or you do not have a DVD compatible drive on your computer.

check the memory, and if not, then sometimes files go hidden when i download a lot of files onto a usb. i go to my computer and sometimes the disk is blank. then i use the web or another program to see if by any chance the folders are there or have disappeared by any reason.
