To double space in Notepad, press Ctrl + A to select all the text, then right-click and select "Paragraph." In the Line spacing dropdown menu, choose "Double." This will adjust the spacing between lines in your Notepad document.

Well se it depends if you want to double space in word it is easy it is in the paragraph group but on macs in text documents i dont know .
you highlight you document then you go to line spacing on the toolbar
you press ctrl then 2 at the same time
open context box. choose line spacing. and then choose double
You highlight everything that you have typed and you right click on it and a drop down menu will appear. Click on "paragraph" on the menu and at the bottom of the new pop-up there is a section that says " line spacing" and after you click on it then you may pick from many different options such as double space.
