This is a problem with the security settings on your wireless connection. To do what you were doing when the error code appeared, change your wireless network security type to WEP, or disable security (not recommended).
Click on the Wireless tab, then click on Wireless Security. Change Security Mode to WPA Personal. Type your password into WPA Shared Key and press Save Settings. As soon as you save these settings, the router will boot you off the wireless network. You will have to reconnect by supplying the password from WPA Shared K.
You can't. It is set by the wireless provider, in this case Cricket, and is usually there for security reasons.
Change default passwords, disable broadcasting of SSID, enable security (N type if possible).
To change the security settings on your Sagem router, first, connect to the router's web interface by entering its IP address (usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1) in your web browser. Log in with your credentials (often found on the router or in its manual). Navigate to the “Wireless” or “Security” section to update settings like the Wi-Fi password, encryption type, and firewall settings. After making your changes, remember to save the settings and restart the router if necessary.
You will have to log into your router, from here go to the wireless security settings. Find what it is you want to change and then apply it. Some changes will require you to restart your router. But be careful when resetting, I dont know why but for some reason this is where I find most people mess up.
on my laptop on the left (the side) there is a thing to change wireless on or off, put the slide thingy on on.
Go to your wireless router settings and change the "channel" to 01. This setting is in the Basic Settings/Wireless Setup. The default is set to "Auto". I then manually set up in Internet/Connection Settings on the DSi XL. Choose Advanced Setup and then choose Connection 4, Change Settings, enter the SSID, choose the correct security setting and then enter the key. This worked for me!
You must log into your wireless account and change the settings from there.
Yes go to network settings on the settings menu. The go to network connections and click that. You use your controller to go to the setting that needs to change. Since you are doing a manual change you need to click that and not auto. Had no problem putting in a password after one was loaded to the wireless router without having to re input some of the other data.
