There are many things to try
Get a faster internet connection lol
No. The hardware exists but has no drivers nor software to make it work.
There should be some signal for point to point connection. P2P also used the same infrastructure as for the internet. Hence you should have a connection to make P2P.
The fact that you have (a) a laptop and (b) a Wi-Fi connection are irrelevant; the real bottleneck, which will make the download slow, is the Internet connection, since I assume you are downloading over the Internet from some remote site. Depending on your connection speed, it may take several hours to do the download.
go into your router and make sure it has the wireless signal output enabled, if this is not the issue make sure your laptop is connected to the network and into the network and choose your connection for further help you can mesange me on AOL instant messanger, Chronicheals
You have two options you can buy a usb adapter that your internet cable plugs into, or if your computer has pci slots they make internet cards that fit in your pci slot.
Anybody can make a great internet connection!
You need to check settings for the network adapter, also you need to make sure that the firewall allows connections.
I have magic jack and it does make our internet connection rather poor.
Yes, you can connect a laptop to the internet using your cell phone by enabling mobile hotspot or tethering on your cell phone. This allows your laptop to access the internet using your cell phone's data connection. Make sure to check with your cell phone carrier for any additional charges related to using your cell phone as a hotspot.
Router will allow you connect multiple computers to one internet connection.
Adding detail to my question... I have a laptop that has full wifi, and another with no wifi, and it cannot use an adapter... Is there any way I can connect wirelessly to a spare router I have, as well as my internet enabled router (I have a USB WiFi adapter I could use to make 2 connections), and then connect the laptop with no wifi to the spare router via ethernet to get internet? The laptop with wifi is windows 8, and the other is fedora 19. Thanks!
