There are many pros and cons. one con would be that sometimes computers are not right. and the pro is they make things easier.

The biggest changes, I would say, is that computers got smaller and smaller and more and more powerful. (Of course, real computers aren't 100 years old yet.)
Without input devices, the only way to reprogram computers would be to pull them apart and rewire them. In modern computers with integrated circuits that would be impossible. Input devices, such as keyboards, make it much easier to reprogram computers with new instructions and/or data.

It could be possible if a person did nothing but math all day at school, that the math would be easier.
In an emergency situation, one could assume that the local rent to own or computer retailer would be happy to rent computers. Also, contracting with a particular computer company for emergency relief would be beneficial.
You would need a router with wireless.Or...You would need a switch or hub, a wireless access point, and two IP's from your cable service provider.
