If you share a folder with someone else then that means they have access to your computer. A virus will notice that and worm it's way over to both of your systems.
runas /user:domain\administrator //server/share
scan it with an anti-virus program like viper or norton then you should be able to open it

This is not a virus. Just because your computer isn't operating correctly or you aren't using it correctly doesn't mean it has a virus.
first step, unhide the associated files in the folder then delete it manually, try to open every folder that you suspect infected with this virus then delete it manually. That's the only way, using all this anti-virus still no use, try it............
make sure its not :[a] a hidden folder[b] read/write protected -i.e. check its privileges[c] that its your computer :)[d] doesnt have a virus
I dont' think so it's a virus. It looks like in folder properties you have the option "open in a new window" checked.
have you tried to delete the folder? do you have the virus scanner it will help you tell if it is a Trojan virus. what does the folder have in it? did anyone download any unknown type of file to start the folder? hope i helped you! :)
