How do you delete photos from your desktop display on a mac?

drag it into the trash can at the bottom/end of your dock The picture used for the Desktop itself can be managed by opening System Preferences and selecting the Desktop and Screen Saver section. Click on the Desktop button and select an image for your Desktop from the left hand panel. Use the + and - buttons below the panel to add or remove images.

To delete photos, you must go to "sync photos from", in the iTunes menu. Choose the "selected albums", and untick the boxes for the photos that you wish to delete. When you click "apply", the photos will be deleted.

To delete photos on your desktop, you click on the photo, drag it down to the middle and there should be a trash can, or right click on the photo and press delete.

Either click on the picture whilst pressing Command, and then select Delete from the drop-down menu, or drag it to the recycling bin on the dock.
