To dismantle a Logitech M305 mouse.

First, you need to remove the battery cover by press the cover release button on the underside of the mouse.

Second, unscrew the one retaining screw near the center of the mouse under the battery cover.

Third, remove the feet, or desk pads, or little rubber pieces on the under side of the mouse to expose 4 screws

Fourth, remove the screws and lift off the cover.
