What is a customised coat on Howrse?
A customized coat is a coat that a user on Howrse has submitted using the Black Pearl. You may buy one of these coats for a specific horse of yours for one pass in the black market. To buy a coat, go to the black market and click on the Golden Apple icon. Choose the horse you'd like to receive the coat. Choose the coat, and click the button at the bottom of the page to give it to your horse. It costs one pass. To create a coat, you will need to draw it on an online image editor or scan it on to your computer. Once you have done this, go to the black market and buy a black pearl. Can you remove black market items for a Howrse you buy and use them on another Howrse?
No. There is no possible way to remove a BM item on a howrse. You can get rid of the wings from Medusa's Blood by using a Golden Apple, but that is probably the only thing that changes...

They just display creations of coats on horses that were made by breeders using the Black Pearl.The Black Pearl enables you to create your very own coat and publish it on Howrse for other users to use. You can also publish it to the Creation Space which means the coat comes with a background (helius ray) that you create. (the other games don't have infrared that's why the game cancels the trade between pearl and black or diamond to black).
