You can attempt to forcefully delete it from your computer, since it is only a stand-alone application, but removing the Flash Player ActiveX/OCX controls from your browser, I would have to ask, why would you want to do that? Without the browser plugin, you can not view any embedded Flash in websites or see any 'tube' videos. These all rely on a current Flash Player plugin and I don't see a need to remove it. If you are having trouble with it, you can always go to the Adobe ebsite and download a free new version to fix it.
