No, its your job if you want to quit then quit but no-one can force you.
Force Quit closes an application. This is used when an application is not responding to normal commands.
If iTunes isn't responding when clicked, first try restarting your computer to resolve any temporary issues. If that doesn't work, you can force quit the application using Task Manager on Windows (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) or Activity Monitor on macOS. Additionally, ensure that you have the latest version of iTunes installed, and consider reinstalling it if the problem persists.
There are two ways: 1. You go to the Apple menu (little apple in upper left corner) and select "Force Quit" then choose the applications you want to force quit in the "Force Quit Applications" window. Press Return, Press "Force Quit." 2. Press "Option+Command+Esc" to open the "Force Quit Applications" widow. Select the application you want to quit. Press Return, Press "Force Quit." If you mean "Forced Shutdown" of the computer, press the power button for 5 seconds.
I'm having the same problem. iTunes starts automatically when I plug in my headphones. Its very irritating and it continues even after I quit iTunes,
no
You can't. If you sync with iTunes on another computer iTunes will force you to wipe the iPod.
I had this problem too. I had iTunes installed already, but when I tried to sync my iPhone, nothing came up on my iPhone screen. I quit iTunes, and unplugged my iPhone, then plugged it back in and opened iTunes again.

In macOS, you can exit a frozen application by using the "Force Quit" option. You can access this by pressing Command + Option + Esc, which opens the Force Quit Applications window. From there, select the unresponsive application and click the "Force Quit" button to close it. Alternatively, you can right-click the application's icon in the Dock while holding the Option key and select "Force Quit."
On a mac go to the blue apple and click. Force quit the operating system, not finder. In my case I use Firefox. Then go to the dock and click the system back on.
To quit Mail on a Mac, you can click on the Mail menu in the top-left corner of the screen and select "Quit Mail," or you can use the keyboard shortcut Command (⌘) + Q.
