Since data recovery is a fairly new field in the I.T world, there's no way possible for you to be able to get 100% of your data back 100% of the time. You might be able to get your data back and you might not. Make sure the recovery program your using supports your partition format. I recommend Handy Recovery or Active! Windows provides two primary methods for partitioning a drive: the Master Boot Record (MBR) and the GUID Partition Table (GPT). MBR is an older partitioning scheme that supports drives up to 2TB and allows for up to four primary partitions. In contrast, GPT is a newer standard that supports larger drives (over 2TB) and allows for a virtually unlimited number of partitions.
