first you have to jailbreak it the easiest one is to use spiritjb.com after that cydia should be downloaded onto your iPod/iPhone when clicking on it if it goes black the screen this is then it has gone wrong then you need to restore your iPod one way is to go on to felixburns then dowload the firmware you need clike save and (DO NOT DOWNLOAD 3.1.1) there is no such thing then you go on to iTunes and clike on your iPod under divices and you should see half way don a box that says restore hold shift and click restore then select the firmware if the file does not end .ipw then you may have to rename it with this on the end to double check have a look on felixburns what for the restore the go back to spiritjb.com select your computer type mines windows click save and then jailbreak it again
