How do you know someone has read your email on Yahoo Mail?

Well the only way people can read your email is if they know your email address and password, and then they can go on your webmail. If the webmail does not allow you to mark a message as unread, and the person reads it, then you know that someone is reading your email.

Having seen online rumors that businesses routinely subscribe to services that send back notices alerting them that a recipient has opened an email, I performed a quick search. Sure enough, there are programs/services that claim they can alert you as to when your sent email has been read. I found a handful in under 30 seconds, so I'm sure there are hundreds more out there.

if it's an email that you've never read before, but it says it's "read" someone's probably been sneaking around your email account. If it is unread it is in bold blue or purple but if it has been read it is blue or purple but its not in bold.
