How do you put your ipod music into iTunes library?

Putting cds on you iPodMake sure your iTunes library is opened. Then put the CD in your computer. A window should pop up asking if you want to add the CD to you library or something like that. Click yes. Then make sure all the songs you want from the CD have a check beside them. Then it will start to put them in your library. once they're all on there, just plug up your iPod and let it update.

Have iTunes open and put the CD into the CD drive, iTunes should automatically run your CD, you should then see a list of all the songs on that CD in a window in iTunes, a pop window will show up asking you if you'd like to sync the CD to your iTunes library, click "Yes" and the songs will be ripped to your library, this may take awhile.

First, select the songs you would like to burn to a CD and move them into a new playlist. To do this, click the plus in the bottom left hand corner. Then, click and drag the songs you would like to burn into the playlist. Next, Put the CD into the computer. You do not have to do anything with the CD right now. Lastly, click on the playlist you created and click on the button in the bottom right hand corner that says, "Burn Disc". Choose the settings you would like to use, click Burn, and when the computer is done burning songs to the CD, eject the CD. Note: Most CDs only have about 700Mb of storage, so make sure that you only try to write 700mb of music or less to the CD.

When you insert the CD into your computer then you should open up itunes and to open what is called "my computer" or if you have vista or higher then you should click on 'computer' and find your CD then when u open itunes on the grey bar on the left hand side you should see something called audio CD or the name of your CD there. you click on it and at the bottom right hand corner you will see the word import and the you can click on that and it will import it into your library on itunes the only drawback is that you can't listen to the music while its importing and that if its something that itunes doesn't recognize then you have to type in the names of the songs yourself

If the CD icon appears on the desktop you can double click on its icon and drag the songs into the iTunes window. Alternatively with the songs from the CD listed in iTunes you can right click on the songs and select Import from the menu. If this is something that you will do often open the iTunes Preferences and select the General section. In the section that says When you insert a CD: change the drop-down menu to Import.
