I have the same issue before, but I discovered that once you set your screen saver you have to click the part that says save and it wont change at all.
If it is just the monitor that is shutting off, then there might be a problem with the monitor with staying on. If by 'screen', you mean the actual computer goes off and produces a black screen, then your computer might be set to go into hibernation quickly, or it might have a mode where it goes into a blank screen saver quickly. Check the computer's settings to fix that problem.
perhaps you have the screen saver on with this set to turn the screen off after 2 seconds of inactivity.
Screen savers are set up in the DeskTop and Screen saver section of the System Preferences. After selecting which screen saver you wan to use you can either set a time delay so the screen saver starts after the computer has not been used for a few minutes or set a Hot Corner which will activate the screen saver when you move your mouse to the set corner.To install new screen savers you can usually double click on the saver file and it will be installed for you.
If you have a Windows XP or any other Windows program, exit out of everything, which leaves you with the desktop screen. Then you RIGHT click on the desktop screen. Go to properties and if you look at the top, there are little tabs that say: Themes Desktop Screen Saver Appearance Settings Well, apparently, the tab that you want to click on is the SCREEN SAVER tab.
Check your screen saver timeout. It is probably not recognizing the movement on the game, not that uncommon, and therefore is simply timing out after a set period just like you weren't doing anything on it.

I have a toshiba CT-90325 TV , i JUST SET IT UP but what I discover when a picture is showing it does not open to full screen, what do I have to do to have the picture full screen? I await your reply. clemont
As in turn it off, or change when sleep turns on? Right click desktop > Personalize > Screen Saver > Change power settings You can set how long before your computer goes to sleep, or turn it off altogether.
The Vista login screen remains displayed as long as the user name and password have not been fed in. One can however use the control panel to alter the time the computer has to stay idle before launching a screen saver or locking itself.

Either you right click on it and say "set as background" or you right click on your desktop, go down to preferences, and I think display settings, and there should be an option for setting wallpaper.
