What you do is click on the 'effects' tab. Then, search for the title 'fast/slow/reverse'. It will then show the highlighted clip on the preview screen, and there will be a line with a triangle in the middle with 'slower' and 'faster' indicated on either side of the line. The Panasonic HDC-SD60 is compatible with iMovie. If it is producing .MOD or .TOD files use the free MPEG Streamclip to convert these to another iMovie friendly format.
The Canon FS200 is compatible with Macs and iMovie but if the video is in the .mod format it will need to be converted. The free MPEGStreamClip (See links below) is ideal for such tasks.

With the latest versions (of Flip camera, iMovie and QuickTime) you should be able to Import Movies from iMovies File menu. With some older Flip cameras there was a piece of conversion software that was required before the video could be imported into iMovie. (See links below)
