How do you type an arrow icon?

Typing an arrow icon facing the left should look something like this:◄. In order to do this hold down Alt and type 17 on the Num. Pad. Typing an arrow icon facing the right should look something like this:►. In order to do this, hold down Alt and type 16 on the Num. Pad. Alt. and 24 through 27 should look like these:↑↓→←.

There are < and > on the comma and period buttons. If you hold shift and , you will get < If you hold shift and . you will get >.

With a Mac computer, you go to finder, and in the menu bar, you select edit-activate active board. This gives you a variety of different symbols. :)
