If you mean your PC keyboard as a musical device, then Q and Z are upper and lower octave C respectively, working your way up if you understand the piano keys.
If you mean how to use a MIDI keyboard, you can only plug it in and use it as a controller. FL can not control your keyboard. The MIDI device can be programmed to control FL Studio. If you want to record the sound from your keyboard device, you need to use the Edison plugin or a better external audio application and record the sound live. Use the saved recording as an audio clip in FL Studio.
FL Studio has an automatic controller preset specifically for that device to use as a controller in the MIDI settings. Though FL will not control the sounds from your device, you can use the device to control FL Studio. Simply select the Keystation as the controller and assign a MIDI port for it to use. Select the Keystation controller type preset to have it set all the knobs and sliders itself.
Yes, you can use a launchpad with FL Studio! To set it up, connect the launchpad to your computer, then go to FL Studio's settings under the "MIDI" section. Make sure your launchpad is recognized and enable it as an input device. Once set up, you can use it to trigger sounds, control effects, and create patterns in your projects.
No, the boxed version comes with 1900 extra sounds, a sample CD and a $49.00 virtual cash card for products on the FL Studio website. The downloaded version, however, offers free lifetime upgrades (free upgrade to FL Studio 10, 11, 12.....)
FL Studio
FL Studio will accept almost any midi controller surface if it is supported by your system as such. You may need driver software, but FL can use generic surfaces to have your keyboard as a controller, you only need to assign the keys and controls to what you want them to do in FL.Writing trance music is another issue... generally, trance, techno and electronic music does not need a person to actually play an instrument in real time, it is often inserted into a song in step time. If you have a sound in mind, then you can probably have FL play to your midi device, though I don't see the point of this since you may be able to find an emulated CTK-2100 plugin with everything you need and use FL as the composition workstation for the plugin sounds. If this CTK-2100 is a small digital audio workstation (DAW) in itself, then it is rather pointless to have FL Studio as the external DAW to send data to the keyboard. You may as well use a lawn mower to jump-start a jumbo jet. FL Studio is a fantastic program to create unique trance music right out of the box, but if you are a good keyboard player and you would rather play in real time, then your Casio will be a great control surface to use FL's built-in features.
plug it into your computer with the midi cable and then go into fl and refresh midi devices and then it should work :)
To learn how to play a MIDI keyboard on a PC, you can start by connecting your MIDI keyboard to your computer using a USB cable. Then, you can use software like a digital audio workstation (DAW) such as Ableton Live or FL Studio to record and play music with your MIDI keyboard. You can also find online tutorials and guides to help you learn how to use your MIDI keyboard effectively.

No, .flp save files are opened in FL Studio only, you can however load up FL Studio and use it as a VST within another sequencer of your choice, so you could use FL Studio as a VST within Cubase for example and then load up your .flp project file with all the playback going into Cubase.
Using Rewire, you can host Fl Studio inside Studio one.
The FL studio is only compatible with computers running the Windows operating system so you will need to have a recent iMac with an Intel processor and have Windows installed on it to be able to use the software on an iMac.
