It appears Comcast gives you one primary email address with @comcast.com. You may wish to try another service like Google's Gmail, which offer free POP email. The benefits is that it's free and portable in case you ever decide to leave Comcast, you won't loose your email address.

If your smtp server features an email forward or mailing list then you can use that. If you Google best smtp server for instance, that server actually has the feature of mailing list and you can set up a mailing list with just one person in it so when you send an email to that list, its going to be forward to that person and "From:" email address is going to be changed to the From: email address of the list owner.
Cancell your email account and make a knew one if you want and if it happens again then get an email address with Google, Hotmail, Comcast, etc. Or you can sign out of email when your done and it wont happen. Thanxx!
go to the email you are forwarding FROM and click on any emails you wish to fwd. then click "foward" (it depends on what kind of web-based email you are using, the fwd button is sometimes in a drop-down box and sometimes its in plain view) and send it to your new email
For most free email service providers, you cannot change your email-address once you have set it. However, there is no real advantage to do this other than sentimental value and the fact you get to keep your retained messages.
