Although there have been known self replicating virus's to attack the OSX - they are not self propagating and do require user input in some manner (i.e. opening a bad email or clicking a link). The most common form of virus are trojans from some bad websites. Smart browsing and wise installation will keep you protected from trojans, though, because you must choose to install them and then input your password for them to install. There are 26 out of 71,000 known viruses.

There are no viruses that affect Mac OS X. If a Mac is running the Windows operating system then it is liable to be infected by the thousands of viruses that exploit the inherent vulnerabilities in Windows.
There are no mac viruses and if there were, no
Mac computers barely have any viruses available on them because its harder to program viruses for them......so no ps2 game will not give viruses
mabey
No. Mac computers are more secure, and have a very difficult code for the computer. There are only a few mac viruses.
Mac's don't get viruses...shoot it, it's fake
LOTS ON A PC. Thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, who knows? Symantec's anti-virus definitions download file is over 30MB! If you use a PC, you need a good Firewall and security software. NONE ON A MAC. There are no known active Mac viruses, though they are theoretically possible. Macro and e-mail viruses can be transmitted by Mac programs but to date will not affect the Mac itself. The built in Mac security is adequate for most users.
every computer can get a virus -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sort of. There are only a handfull of viruses for mac and they are ALL trojans. They do not do much damage nearly as much as windows viruses.
