The Speed Sensor is located on the transmission twoards the back, you can identify it by the two vacuum lines running to it from the frame area.

Not without electrical work. The 1997+ Preludes have OBD2 wire harness while the 92-96 Have OBD1. Different wire harness/sensors/ecu.

The odometer gets its signal from the speed sensor, so if the (tailshaft) speed sensor is bad then the odometer obviously will not work
