First of all ... Megabytes is a unit of information used to measure the information capacity of various components in a computer. Your question could mean many things. I would assume you either want to know how to add memory (simultaneously running programs) to your computer, or how to add to your computers total storage capacity (file storage).

As for memory, you can add to its capacity by buying RAM, make sure that you have bought RAM compatible with your computer first.

As for storage, you can add to its capacity by either removing unecessary files in your computer, or buy a new hard drive. Make sure that you check your computer for a spare SATA or IDE connection first and that you buy a hard drive that is compatible with your spare connection.

It's fairly easy - you need either a vacant memory slot on your motherboard - or higher capacity replacement chips for those already installed. Then it's either a case of slotting a new chip into the spare slot - or replacing the existing chips.

In either case - remember to wear an anti-static wristband !
