No. They make a seperate monitor that is a touch screen. You can't make one out of a current monitor because the screens are made out of two different things.

I do not have a 24" iMac. I have a 20" iMac. Apple no longer sells the 24" iMac. If you will click the Apple logo on the top left of your screen and then click About This Mac then More Info you can find the answer.
This answer is an oppinion..... in my personal oppinion i think you should get the touch smart rather than the IMac. I just think the TouchSmart brings something new a better to the table because of the extra feture, the touch screen! ( I really want the TouchSmart IQ770 ) Hope I have helped!! : )
