Yes, you can still edit a movie/video that has been published in WMM (Windows Movie Maker). However, you would be editing the published version of the project (not the original MSWMM project version).
This is the best way to put a WMM video together, in my opinion. Using several WMM clips that you know for a fact are are compatible with the program (since you created and published them with it), makes movie/video producing much easier.
I take smaller clips that I've published on WMM, import them back into the program in order to create different projects. The editing process on previously published WMM video/movies is the same.Upon completion of each new project, I publish it. That way I can continue to import and edit the video whatever way I choose.
:)
If you are using a Copyright Video and/or Audio, you need expressed written permission from the artist(s) before you can publish it. If you do not get this permission, and still publish it, you risk being sued for Copyright Infringement.
Before you can view, share, email or burn a movie from Windows Movie Maker, you must first Publish or Finish the project. This process exports/converts the Windows Movie Maker file into a Standard viewing format (that others can see).Once you have Published or Finished the movie maker video, you can view it in any media player, send it by email, upload it to the Internet or burn it to CD/DVD.Just remember, you CANNOT do this with a Windows Movie Maker video that is still in project form.
You can still drag in Windows Movie Maker.
Windows Movie Maker version 2.6.
As long as the audio/music is a compatible format for use in Windows Movie Maker, it can be imported into the program.iPod audio is usually (but not always) in AAC (M4A, M4B, and M4P) or other format not compatible with Windows Movie Maker. If that is the case, you will need to convert the audio/music file into a compatible format (such as .mp3).
Windows Movie Maker shouldn't be changing any of your project's color schemes. You may want to ensure your Movie Maker is up-to-date with Automatic Updates (for patches/fixes). If it is updated and you are still experiencing the same problem, I would suggest re-installing Windows Movie Maker.
To find the download itself (to install the program), find the destination you saved the Windows Movie Maker program to. Open the folder and install it.To find Windows Movie Maker once it is installed:> Click Start, All Programs, Movie Maker (icon) from the list> Or if it is not in the list, open the Movie Maker folder in Programs and click on the icon.If you still can't find the Movie Maker program:> Click Start. Start search (or Run Command) and type in: MOVIEMK.exeThe program will show up in the list generated. Click on the Movie Maker icon to open it.
I'm pretty sure this question is not going to be answered by anyone else because there is not enough detailed information on the issue. But I am going to give it a try. When you ask where you can 'upload' Windows Movie Maker files, I have to assume you want to upload your movie/video to a site such as Youtube. In order to 'upload' your video/movie anywhere, you first have to Publish/Finish the video in the Windows Movie Maker program. This process mixes down audio and video properties into a Standard Viewing format such as:asf, .avi, dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, .wmvWindows Movie Maker exports the Published/Finished video in .wmv format which is compatible with most sites on the internet. If at all possible, I would consider converting it to a .mp4 though, since that is the most current format in use. But .wmv will usually work too.In any case, if the movie/video is still in Windows Movie Maker file format (MSWMM) it can't be viewed anywhere but in the program itself. Just remember, in order to upload, email, burn or view your Windows Movie Maker project you must first Publish or Finish the Movie.
Sounds like you need to do some computer maintenance (such as defrag, clean-up, ect.) If your Movie Maker is still freezing up, delete the program and download the version of Movie Maker you desire (or an upgraded version) again. Reinstall the program. It should work then
To make a stop animation movie make thousands of picture files and put themin movie maker and make their durations as short as possible, add sounds, voices and more if you want and it will work.
Are you sure they are still in the project file? There would be red X's where media is that can't be located on your computer. If you can actually find the pictures in one of the collection panes (folders) in your Windows Movie Maker program, you should be able to drag and drop them back onto your desktop. But, if they are not clickable (accessible) from either the viewing pane or collection folder, you need to find a way to get the originals back onto your computer before they can be used again in a project. Just remember - you have to have the media used in any project available on your computer. Do not move it, rename it, or anything else until you have Published/Finished the file in Windows Movie Maker.
There may be a glitch in your Movie Maker program. Or you might simply need to do some computer maintenance (such as defrag, etc.) If you are still have problems with the program after maintenance, I would suggest installing the program again.
