It depends on what type of Dell laptop computer you get, as to whether it's good for gaming. A high end laptop will be great for gaming, but a budget one won't be.
It will get you through a good portion of gaming. Should you decide to do high end games such as crysis it will not be fit. But for the majority of your gaming I'd say so.
