yes
A physical disablility.
Scoliosis
There is no known way to prevent the development of scoliosis. Progression of scoliosis may be prevented through bracing or surgery. Exercise and physical fitness are of paramount importance for all individuals affected with scoliosis.
scoliosis is a physical disabillity ok whoever said scoliosis is a physlical disability is wrong i have scoliosis and i am not disabled i can swim dance climb a mountain what ever! i had surgery for it cause it could get worse but that doesn't meen i have a physical disabillity cause i don't!
Both are correct and acceptable You can say “mental and physical health” or “physical and mental health.” There’s no grammatical error in either. That said, “mental and physical health” is more commonly used today because it emphasizes that mental health is just as important as physical health.
mental
Yes, the Army's physical examination includes a screening for scoliosis and other spinal abnormalities. This assessment is part of the overall evaluation to determine an individual's fitness for service. If significant scoliosis is detected, it may impact a candidate's eligibility for enlistment or certain military roles, depending on the severity and associated symptoms.
The opposite of mental is physical. Mental pertains to things related to the mind, while physical pertains to things related to the body.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ this is actually incorrect. IDIOPATHIC SCOLIOSIS HAS NO KNOWN CAUSE you CANNOT get it from 'bending over too much' or 'carrying a heavy bag' you will get it regardless. other forms of scoliosis however have known causes yes it happens more in girls than boys, 2% of healthy boys will get scoliosis where as the percentge of girls is much much higher when i say healthy boys, i mean boys who have no health problems / disabilities scoliosis seems to go hand in hand with heart conditions other muscular diseases such as muscular distrophy / ostrophy etc. people often perk up at that when i say 'health problems' note, this does not include any mental illnesses such as depression or anxiety. mostly just heart and muscle conditions. (although scoliosis can cause other mental conditions to arise, sadly)
