No it isn't. However I hear LG will be releasing a touch screen version of the Lotus via Sprint! I LOVE my Lotus but miss the touch screen and full web browser of my old phone.

^^ This is an unsubstantiated rumor. Yes, the LG Lotus is not a touch screen phone. This is part of the reason why the lid could be kept so thin--you don't need the room for the sensory electronics. The form factor of the LG Lotus is quite small, so a touch screen would not really provide that much of a benefit. So far, there is no information available on-line at all of an upcoming LG Lotus with touch screen.

If you desire to do an intense amount of browsing through photos, rapidly zooming in and zooming out of images, and crave the "momentum movement" for content you see on touch screen phones, then get something like an iPhone, Blackberry Storm, or Palm Pre. The LG Lotus is targeted to those who want the smallest phone possible with a QWERTY keyboard, along with basic connectivity functions such as e-mail and internet. I tuck my LG Lotus in the inside change pocket of my suit jackets, without creating noticeable bulk. It's the ultimate stealth phone. ;-)
