keep house clean constantly and sweep daily and dont keep food out overnight or you can buy a humane mouse trap (NOT a cruel one) and put peanut butter or cheese in it (peanut butter works best) and when you catch it take it to an open space and then let it run free. It won't find its way back home.
Here is a site that discusses one of the most humane ways to get rid of rats and mice, www.ratmousezapper.com
One way to get rid of field mice is to use poison.
get a cat
A good way is to simply get a cat. I know, I know it sounds very cliche. However you'd be surprised how much more effective cats can be than professional mice exterminators. If you are worried about costs you can simply adopt a cat. Cats don't eat very much and are easier to clean up after than dogs. They are even great companions. Although it isn't very humane for the mice, you have to keep in mind wild mice (not pet mice) are pests. Domesticated cats are pets and it would be humane to adopt one.
Dish soap is not an effective method for killing mice. It may act as a repellent due to its scent, but it is not a reliable or humane way to deal with a mouse infestation. It is recommended to use traps or contact a professional pest control service for humane and effective solutions.
From my own experience the best way to rid your home of unwanted mice is to use the newly designed covered mouse traps. They are a very cost effective way to remove the pests from your home, they are efficient and fairly inexpensive.
Cats are very helpful. They are a great way 2 get rid of mice, and your yarn!

No, Pet mice and rats LOVE newspaper but it is best to lay fresh newspaper down then shred the extra paper into small peices, mice and rats like it because it gives them something to make their nest with. AND don't forget to feed them and give them water and to love ALL your pets! :) Hope this helps!
you can set mice traps around the house or if that dosnt work you can call an exterminator company to get rid of them :)
Take them to the humane society.
