I dont know exactly what you mean, but i have an idea.

  1. ok open up your iTunes library
  2. then click on one of the sings so that you can listen to it, but dont hook up your iPod
  3. if you cant listen to the song i have your solution
  4. double click on a song and a box will appear and say something about searching for the song, click yes
  5. it will give you some files that you have listed under music
  6. click on one of the files that you think the music will be under a whole list of music will show up
  7. look for the correct song that fits the name that you clicked in step 4
  8. keep on doing this until you find all the names hint: make sure to look carefully there might be some songs you cant find
  9. keep on doing this and you can successfully listen to all the songs without hooking up your ipod

damn! i forgot that this only worked if you downloaded a new itunes and want to transfer the songs. im sorry just try this to see if it works

Answer (2): Try checking your file extension. If they are a WMA or somthing that your current nano cant support, try converting it. Either that or maybe your nano is full?

How do you put LimeWire music onto i tunes?

What you have to do is locate the shared folder from Limewire (the source file where all the music is downloaded to) and import songs into Itunes (file-add folder to library) and select it. BAM! it starts to take all the music into itunes and will attempt to convert any music that Itunes doesn't recognize. I'M NICE!
