Here is the simple solution

Its very simple, if you are certain that your Ms-office is still valid/its still under trial period then here is the steps to be followed. Even you can download trial version through online by going to Google, by searching through "MS-OFFICE FREE DOWNLOAD" keyword in the search index.

After downloading the exe make it to run till the complete execution process get finished.

Then once you enter in to Office, it will prompt you with the product key which you have been served before downloading the trial version. Paste the key here to get started with Ms. Office. Here is the place where the problem might arise. Sometime word doesn't allow user to type, edit or with anyother option promting "modification is not allowed bcoz the selection is locked".

to get it fixed follow this simple steps

1. Go the office bottom at the top left corner of the window

2. In that drop down menu, click the "word option" button at the right end.

3. In that resources is the only option you can go with, so click the option and in that

sub-options click the "activate Microsoft office" click "activate" button.

4. This option validates your word working duration, click finish.

5. close if any office is opened and re-start it again. You will see it would have activated.
