NO do not get the Ipad 3 way too expensive. I would suggest that you get the kindle fire HD because the sound is amazing along that it also has less glare than the original kindle fire. However, the Amazon app store is down by a lot. Compared to the Google Nexus 7's 800,00 apps Amazon only has around 600,00 apps. They got popular but not much important apps
