yes you should get two puppies because if you only one, then the puppy will eventually get lonely when your gone or not present with with him or her and its best if you have an active playmate for the puppy so he or she wont be lonley. its very healthy for a dog to have a playmate especially if its a new born or puppy in your matter. i have two dogs myself and they turned out to be very happy and love to play together and its a very good and loving experience for you to witness yourself.
