A virus-generated email is a type of malicious email that is created and sent by a computer virus or malware. These emails often contain harmful attachments, links, or scripts designed to infect the recipient's device, steal sensitive information, or spread the virus further. They may appear to be from legitimate sources to trick users into opening them. It's important to be cautious with unexpected emails, especially those with attachments or links.
That's not a virus, some spam/scam guy simply got hold of your email address and is trying to scam you. You should all change email addresses (lavabit is a good email server), preferably having your email address contain numbers, and be careful not to list your email online. It is called the 419 scan . Googling 419 will give you more information
From the original Email attacked it is then sent to everyone in the victims inbox, the people that open the email with the virus atthment get the virus those who SCAN THEIR EMAIL FIRST!!!! do not. So baiscly just make sure you pay attension to the attachments 'friends' send you as they may not be from them at all...
There are many threats that can be found on email. One of the most Computer Virus that sent via email is the "Email Virus". This is a script, code, or an application that will alter a process, code or another program. Since some of them are script, they can enter beyond the field of Antivirus without being quarantined. Another one is the Phishing scam. This is not a computer virus but this is a security threat. It allows user to click links and type email. But behind these links are process that traces ID and other personal stuffs.
same as you get a virus on your computer, you can get it my email, sent bya person(bluetooth) or web in whole. so you better get an antivirus. Net qin recomended
Generally not. Once a computer has a virus, it is considered compromised, like a zombie. If you can determine the exact virus, and confirm that it doesn't spread through email or send files to the creator, it would probably be safe. Unless you know the exact virus, it could potentially send the creator your emails, your email password, sent itself to your contacts, and many other bad things. If you know there is a virus, you might as well install free antivirus (Immunet on Windows, ClamAV on Mac/Linux) and remove it.
