In electronics, a flip-flop or latch is a circuit that has two stable states and can be used to store state information. The circuit can be made to change state by signals applied to one or more control inputs and will have one or two outputs. Flip-flops and latches are a fundamental building block of digital electronics systems used in computers, communications, and many other types of systems.
door latch
If you mean the cable that goes to your latch and its snapped or something easiest way to do it is basicly grab a hold of the cable and pull on it and of latch would.
The latch is broken or out of adjustment.
a latch is like a lock
The door latch may not retract properly due to a misalignment of the latch mechanism, a worn-out latch, or debris blocking the latch from retracting.
The door handle may not latch properly due to a misalignment of the latch mechanism, a worn-out latch, or a loose connection between the handle and the latch.
Rickey Latch's birth name is Rickey L. Latch.
The door latch may not close properly due to misalignment, a faulty latch mechanism, or a worn-out latch.
I will assume you mean it will not latch. If the lock hasn't been damaged it's probably just dry. Spray the latch where you can see it in the edge of the door with a spray lubricant such as WD40.
The door knob may not latch properly due to a misalignment of the latch mechanism, a loose screw, or a worn-out latch.
Replace the door latch.
Unscrew the latch. or put oil on the hinges for the latch to move and see if you can move it.
