Just the manual. Assuming you are talking about a desktop computer, I highly recommend using the manual to connect the front panel headers (Ex. Power, reset, usb, audio... usually on the front of the case), as some motherboards are different of where the cables go.

The manuals usually explain what cables go in what pins very well. Other than that though, installing everything else is almost identical to each motherboard, as they are standards.
