Osteophytosis is little outgrowths from the end of bones. It is part of arthritis - or 'osteoarthritis' - and is nothing to be concerned about in itself. 'Multilevel' means that it occurs at several places along the spine.
This simply means arthritis of the spine.
The words advanced chronic changes in MRI results mean that there is some sort of chronic condition which has been present for long enough for the damage to be advanced. An example of this would be the changes which can be seen with advanced pancreatitis.
my MRI of my brain says there is dark fluid what does this mean
After mri,on lower spine what does clinical correlation mean
Marginal osteophytosis refers to the formation of osteophytes, or bone spurs, at the margins of joints, often as a result of osteoarthritis or other degenerative joint conditions. These bony projections develop in response to joint stress and can lead to pain, reduced mobility, and joint stiffness. While they are typically a sign of joint degeneration, osteophytes can sometimes contribute to joint stability. Diagnosis usually involves imaging techniques like X-rays or MRI.
Not at this time, from what I've seen.
MRI stands for magnetic resonance imaging.
This essentially means that some of the bone seen on MRI is not "bright" (like with normally calcified bones), but is darker, possibly, that had been expected. You need to discuss just why this might be so in this case with the ordering doctor... I know this isn't the answer you were looking for, but there are so many reasons this condition might be seen on an MRI, that your doctor will have a better idea of what it might be...
It means that they could find nothing wrong on the MRI.

It just means that the base part of your spinal column is normal/ordinary. No problems seen. I just had an MRI done with the same result listed.
Most likely a meniscus tear or possibly evidence of a previous surgery.
It means you should call your doctor... I have already seen my doctor, had an MRI (that's how I know about the brain stem. I saw my doctor today to review the results of the MRI, but he was very vague in his explanation and I left his office not knowing any more than when I walked in.
