Almost all web browsers have a standard layout with similar buttons. To navigate backwards, there is normally an arrow at the top of the browser facing the left side of the computer, which can be used to go back.
Top left, 3rd icon after "back" and "forward" buttons, the icon with the curving arrow.
That bar, in Firefox or any other Windows application, is know as the Menu Bar. In relation, the other bars you see in different programs are most often known as Toolbars, which can usually be shown or hidden via: View -> Toolbars -> <name of toolbar> (or equivalent, some programs might have this option elsewhere, you might have to hunt around) For example you also have the Navigation Toolbar, which has your back, forward, homeand reload buttons and the address bar, and the Boomarks Toolbar, which is self explanatory :)
Different web browsers have different buttons. Common buttons include Back, Forward, Home, and Refresh. Click the Help button on the top of the screen for more detailed information.
