Bootex is a virus
To delete the BootEx file, you can use the Command Prompt in Windows. Open Command Prompt as an administrator and type the command del C:\path\to\BootEx (replacing "C:\path\to" with the actual path to the file). If the file is in use, you may need to boot into Safe Mode or use a live operating system to delete it. Always ensure you have backups before deleting system files.
To remove Bootex, a malware or unwanted software, you can start by running a full system scan using your antivirus or anti-malware software to detect and eliminate it. Additionally, check your system's startup programs and remove any suspicious entries related to Bootex. If necessary, you can also manually uninstall it from the Control Panel under "Programs and Features." Finally, ensure your operating system and all software are updated to prevent future infections.
Its a file that tell you when windows has cleaned up, or fixed something. It tells you EXACTLY what commands it has performed. It is fine to delete it. (Mostly used on USB Drives)
