The Layers panel lists all of the layers making up an image, displaying each layer's name and thumbnail view. You can use the Layers panel to hide, view, reposition, delete, rename, and merge layers.

In Fireworks CS5, the "frames" panel can be found in the "Layers" panel. It allows you to manage the different frames of an animated GIF or PNG file. You can access it by clicking on the tab labeled "States" within the Layers panel.
You select the 3D Buildings layer in the Layers panel on the left. If Layers panel is not shown then check the Sidebar option in the View menu.
You can save thumbnail preview with image in Save or Save As dialog. Thumbnails in LAYERS palette you can choose thumbnail options from LAYERS panel options (top right corner of LAYERS palette > Panel Options).

To navigate different layers in GIMP, open the Layers panel by going to Windows > Dockable Dialogs > Layers. You can select, hide, or delete layers by clicking on them in the panel. Use the eye icon to toggle visibility, and drag layers to rearrange their order. To adjust a layer's properties, right-click on the layer for additional options like opacity and blending modes.
To lock layers in Pixlr, first select the layer you want to lock from the Layers panel. Then, look for the lock icon, typically located at the top of the Layers panel, and click on it. This will prevent any modifications to the selected layer, ensuring that it remains unchanged while you work on other layers. To unlock the layer, simply click the lock icon again.
To select multiple layers in the Layers panel, hold down the Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) key while clicking on each layer you want to select. For selecting a continuous range of layers, click the first layer, hold down the Shift key, and then click the last layer in the range. This will select all layers in between. You can also use the Ctrl/Cmd key to add or remove individual layers from your selection.
The layers of plywood are called veneers. Veneers are thin sheets of wood that are glued together to form the plywood panel.
You can access styles from STYLES panel or from Layer Style dialog (fx at bottom of LAYERS panel).
