Hi! #85 is an 'immobilizer' code. Most likely triggered by a missing/wrong chip in a car key (spare key - with no chip?). The code reader in the steering column is anable to recognize the key.
As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, No. 85 for the Pittsburgh Steelers is tight end Pat Freiermuth. He was drafted by the Steelers in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft and has since established himself as a key player in their offense, known for his receiving skills and blocking ability. Always check the latest rosters for any updates, as player numbers can change.
You need to find a MB dealer, grab your driver's license, proof of ownership of your car, and the VIN. They will order a new key for you. Depending on where you live, it can take a week or two to get a new key. I believe they'll issue you a master key...but to be sure, ask the counter man. You should know that these keys can be expensive. I believe the '85's used a laser cut key...they cost.
$85 ($87 with convenience fee if you pay online) and 2 points on your license.
i have 85 cavalier how you get key cycliner out
make sure it is COMPLETY in park. Sometimes it will not release the key unless it is totally "locked" down.
In my case it was because the original key has a microchip in it that the copied key does not. In order to get a key with a microchip in it, I have to go to the dealer and order one at the price of around $85.
