What is the best photo shop?

That question is kind of hard to understand, but I'm assuming you mean which version of Photoshop is the best. That depends on what you want to do with Photoshop. Basically the newest version Adobe Photoshop cs5 is the best one because it's the newest and it's got the most options

I like Photoshop CS2 the best. I tried CS3 and didn't like it at all.

Generally newer versions are better, because they are improved with newer features, but they also require more ram and may require a better processor and video card, so they may not run as well on your system depending on your computer's hardware and OS specifications (ie. they may run sluggish, work to a limited degree, or not work at all).

I've always preferred Adobe Software when it comes to Photoshop. I began with Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 when I was 15 or so, then moved on to Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0, and now I currently use Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended.
