Switch users : This is when you have more than one profile on your computer.. You might have your profile (Administrator). This is what comes up when you first turn your computer on, It usually has your name. You then put in your password (if you have one set up) To get to the computer screen.
Many people have more then one profile.. This might be because other people use there computer.. So any photos ect. they have on there profile on the computer will not be on anyone elses profile.
Switching users allows to you switch from your profile to another profile or vice-cersa without shutting down or logging off.
Logging off : This is simply that.. 'logging off' your profile.. Instead of 'shutting down' the computer (to turn it off) You can jut logg off your profile.. The computer will remain turned on but wont be logged into your account. You might use this when someone is going to use the computer shortly after you and you dont want to shut it down in the mean time.. You can just logg off you profile and when they are ready.. they can then logg ONto their own profile :)
