I am not that familiar with this particular product, however having seen you question I have done some investigation and the product looks very promising. Quartz itself is very durable and should stand up to pool chemistry very nicely. However like any pool surface how long the product will last will depend on how well you maintain the water balance. Many people over look the need to maintain the overall water balance, which includes the total alkalinity and most importantly in this case calcium hardness. Failure to maintain the mineral levels in the pool will cause the surface of the pool to fail and void any warranties the manufacture or builder offers. One bag of Quartzon material will cover 1m2. So if your pool is 10 metres long X 5 metres wide and an average of 1.5 metres deep then the amount of Quartzon would be calculated as follows.First add the two long walls, then the 2 short walls X the average depth. Then times the length by the breadth to give you the total m2.10+10+5+5 = 30 linear metres30 metres X 1.5=45 m2 for the walls10 X 5m = 50m2 for the floorTotal m2 = 95 bags or 95m2.
Hard pool covers for inground pools offer several benefits, including increased safety by preventing accidental falls into the pool, reducing evaporation and chemical loss, keeping debris out of the pool, and providing insulation to help maintain water temperature.
Sounds like you have been using too much acid. The pool surface is not the only place that is degrading. Every surface the water had come in contact with is damaged - especially the pool heater. The water is or has been extremely acidic. Good luck here.
To maintain water clarity in a cloudy pool, you can regularly clean the pool, balance the water chemistry, use a pool clarifier, and ensure proper filtration and circulation.
To maintain a salt water pool effectively, regularly test and balance the water chemistry, clean the pool and filter system, and monitor the salt levels. Additionally, ensure proper circulation and filtration of the water, and regularly inspect and maintain the pool equipment.
The most important accessories for keeping a pool clean are a moving filter, a net for scooping out debris, and a ph testing system. These are the basics to maintain a healthy pool.

The most important items you will need are the pool chemicals for maintain the water quality. You will also need a pool vacuum, pump and filters.
Not all pools have pool liners, some are simply painted concrete. Depends upon your type of pool. If you are concerned with longivity, then consider a thicker vinyl.
Use cloren
Pool shock should be used to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of a swimming pool when the chlorine levels are low, there is visible algae growth, or after heavy pool usage. It helps to kill bacteria and algae, and should be used regularly as part of a pool maintenance routine.
You use a water heater, which may be electric or gas, to circulate the pool water through and maintain temperature.
