One bag of Quartzon material will cover 1m2. So if your pool is 10 metres long X 5 metres wide and an average of 1.5 metres deep then the amount of Quartzon would be calculated as follows.
First add the two long walls, then the 2 short walls X the average depth. Then times the length by the breadth to give you the total m2.
10+10+5+5 = 30 linear metres
30 metres X 1.5=45 m2 for the walls
10 X 5m = 50m2 for the floor
Total m2 = 95 bags or 95m2.
Sounds like you have been using too much acid. The pool surface is not the only place that is degrading. Every surface the water had come in contact with is damaged - especially the pool heater. The water is or has been extremely acidic. Good luck here.

A foot is a unit of distance. A square metre is a unit of area. The two units are therefore incompatible.
